Updating before the urge leaves me.

Choir. I miss thee already. *Cries* ~ I think there'll be a couple more recording sessions before I go off to Japan, though, so I'll be okay for now. And Sam says I'm allowed to come back to sing at Christmas; Rosie says she'll come, too.

After Evensong (on Sunday, duh), we had a bring-and-share dinner, and I made rolled sushi, and a little bit of pressed sushi, too (with Heli's help), though it seems that Kate and I were the only ones who didn't take party food (*sweatdrops*). Sam apparently made I nice speech, but I missed it D: because I had to run home to pick up my bag before a last-minute trip to that cafe in market square, next to M&S, for ice cream and tiramisu (Kate, Jess and I ordered one of each, and then shared them between us, because Kate didn't have enough money with her ;P).

All of the Chamber Choir signed the hymn books that Sam gave to me and Rosie (and Abraham), and some of the people from the Young Girls' Choir, the Boys' Choir & the Adults' Choir appear to have signed it as well, though I don't even know who most of them are (and I can't read what Sam wrote at all. His handwriting is atrocious).

And also: icontest people on flist? Should I be worrying about the fact that no one's submitted to week 1 at [info]behemoth_stills yet (except me)? I find myself strangely panicky about the fact that I really don't want to have to have an extension on the first week!. *Wails*

I am really craving ice cream right now, but not enough to eat the fig ice cream in the freezer, and I can't be bothered to go out and get something else. Woe is me (*angsts*).

EDIT: [info]sister_stick came over this afternoon. "Date"-thingemyjig is on for Friday.

I suggest promoting in [info]ipromo, [info]icontest_promo, and other places like that. :D

Also promote again on [info]air_treck...

Wasn't there a rule against promoting more than once on [info]air_treck? But hey, I didn't know about those other communities~ I'll head over there now! ^^

As in, as an iconmaker? *Quivers* Eep~! I don't think I've ever made non-manga icons, except for the Audrey Hepburn ones I made for [info]sister_stick, and those really crappy Brokeback ones I made before I figured out how to use PS properly. ^^'

How exciting! I thoroughly expect to see a photo record of places you've been and all the goodies you bring back ;)

As for the lack of iconage... don't forget you only have 9 members right now. I think we didn't open the first Week of [info]airgear_awards till we had at least 20. And right now we have 103 members out of which only about half-a-dozen actually submit anything. Expect lurkers; sadly it's only natural.

I'm one of those people who obsessively submits as many icons as I'm allowed to for almost every challenge, even if some of them end up being crap, so yeah, I don't really understand people who join icontests and then don't participate at all (unless they just lose interest, or something of the kind). I'm hoping that most people will vote, though, even if they don't submit. :( And there's still two days left! I mustn't think negatively~!
