1. black magician trilogy:
   The best sci-fi I've read in a long, long time, even though it reads more like fantasy, and the main character gets on my nerves, and there's only about three lines dedicated to the death of my favourite character. Also, Cery, Dorrien and Akkarin: they're caracterised so well, and the final Sonea/Akkarin dynamic (once she's figured out that he's not evil) clicks so well that I almost forgot that I don't even like Sonea.
2. crossovers:
   *Laughs* Well, really - what did you expect?
3. emelan:
   The Circle books have Briar. Briar=Love. Therefore Emelan=Love. On a more serious note, though: the whole Circle universe is so well thought-out and so vividly portrayed that you can almost feel as if you're part of it. And then she went and introduced Pasco and Evvy, and I was a goner.

   You probably wouldn't expect it: I don't read much, or write much. But then again, it's not really surprising, since there's so little well-written femmeslash that it's really more effort than it's worth to trawl through all the rubbish to find it.
5. iconage:
   Two words: fun (and) easy.
6. maximum ride:
   Even better than the Black Magician trilogy. Max/Fang calls to my inner romantic sop, and the whole situation with the School calls to my outer angst-whore. Favourite characters are probably Iggy, Fang and Nudge, though Ella (y'know - that little girl who Max goes to stay with when she hurts her wing) also comes close.
7. naruto:
   I am so obsessed that it's not even funny: my friends are all going insane from my blathering, and emayo especially, 'cause she never tells me to shut up. Only discovered it a few weeks ago, and I've yet to find anywhere where I can download the anime, but I managed to get through the entire manga (so far) after three days of solid reading. But seriously, Sasuke is messed up and slightly psychotic, Naruto has absolutely no tact, and Sakura has MPD (not really). And I won't even start on team 8 and team yondaime, since I probably shouldn't ramble here forever. Favourite characters so far: Kimimaro, Rin, Obito, Kiba, Hinata.

   Gah. Books! My beloved books! What would I do without you?

   Take what I said about the Circle books and double it, because she wrote the Tortall books as well. *Loffs*

    My life was a blank piece of paper, before I decided to write on it.
